Group work is an inevitable part of almost any class and it is nearly impossible to get everyone in this busy day and age to come together to have a meal, much less work on a single project. Often time, work is divided and separate mini-projects are completed and reassembled for the final project or someone is left doing the majority of the work. With today’s technology, this is unacceptable. There are many ways to collaborate via the internet, but I have chosen to introduce what I feel is the most accessible.
Google is more than an e-mail provider and has certainly come a long way. In the video below, I will give a basic introduction to how to use platforms available in Google Drive to share work load among groups of people without having to be in the same place at the same time. Make sure that everyone has a Google address and e-mail and begin using Google to make work that much easier.
