Lately, I’ve been more willing to eat some meat. I honestly like pork, just try not to eat it very often. So tonight, I bought some 삼겹살 (Samgyeopsal) to fry for dinner. Yum~ Something that is always served alongside 삼겹살 when grilling Korean barbeque is 쌈장. Typically you have lettuce you put some rice in, a piece of the 삼겹살, and some 쌈장 (ssamjang). Here is my personal recipe for ssamjang!
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 spoon of 고추장 (red pepper paste)
- 2 spoons of 된장 (soy bean paste)
- 1/4 tsp. Sesame Oil
- 1/2 tsp. 미림 (Rice wine)
- Mince garlic and rub it against the knife until it is fine.
- Mix it with the rest of the ingredients.
- Serve with meal!
